Rainbow Challenge - Second-Year Program

Tolerant Youth Association (TJA) is implementing a comprehensive project aimed at combating violence and discrimination in educational institutions, promoting healthy relationships, and enhancing the skills of community members. The project, supported by the Agency of Youth Affairs, involves various activities for both TJA members and the wider public.

As part of the project, we will organize a two-day training session, „Bringing Violence Out of the Shadows in Schools,” where participants will learn how to identify discrimination, violent relationships, and various forms of violence. During this training, 25 volunteers and members of the organization will strengthen their ability to assist others and increase their motivation to participate actively in the association’s activities.

Another key activity is a workshop on sexting, where participants will gain knowledge about this social phenomenon and learn how to support victims of sexting. The project also includes youth training on topics such as drug use trends, community-building, and leadership.

The project further includes a mentorship program, engaging volunteers in the organization’s activities, and participation in international events such as Baltic Pride. We aim to foster strong cooperation with international organizations and encourage youth involvement in civic initiatives and international exchanges.

This project supports TJA’s strategic goal of strengthening interpersonal relationships among members, developing competencies in addressing violence issues, and promoting active youth engagement.

Funding: The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Social Security and Labour, in accordance with the State Budget Funds Usage Agreement. The project competition was announced by the Agency of Youth Affairs.
