Project duration: October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2026
The QueeResilience project aims to strengthen the digital resilience and mental wellbeing of LGBTQ+ youth by addressing the risks and opportunities of digital media. The project focuses on:
- raising awareness of how digital spaces impact the mental health of LGBTQ+ youth;
- equipping youth workers with tools to support LGBTQ+ youth facing online challenges;
- empowering LGBTQ+ youth to participate actively in digital society;
- fostering solidarity among all young people in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
The project builds on the insights of LGBTQ+ youth and mental health experts, incorporating the latest research and academic literature to create practical tools for youth work. LGBTQ+ youth from all partner countries (Lithuania, Slovakia, Czechia, and Germany) are actively involved in piloting materials and co-creating a Europe-wide social media campaign.
